These days, with Gush Katif in the headlines, the residents of the Gush and their supporters are working day and night producing and distributing informational materials and supportive devices of various kinds, in an effort to influence public opinion in Israel, reverse the expulsion decree and demonstrate to all and sundry what Gush Katif is really like. In addition, items are being produced that will enable people to demonstrate their identification with and support of Gush Katif.
It is precisely at this time that we decided to open Gush Katif's Online Store (GKOS), in order that you too, friends and supporters of the Land of Israel and of Gush Katif living abroad, will be able to express your support and your identification and to lend a hand in the campaign for Gush Katif. |  | Why Buy at GKOS?
There are several major reasons to buy at Gush Katif's Online Store. The first and main reason is that, by means of the products you will be purchasing, you will be able, wherever you may be, to give practical expression to your identification and support, and to feel that you are an integral part of the Jewish settlement movement in Israel.
Another and no less important reason to buy at GKOS is that whatever profits accrue to the Store will be earmarked for the maintenance of Gush Katif's Internet website (www.katif.net), which works non-stop for the settlement enterprise in the Gush and against the disengagement plan. Over the past four years, this website has served as Gush Katif's chief mouthpiece, for the media and for target audiences the world over - all of this, needless to say, without a penny of financial support from any official source. |  | 3. What About Direct Contributions via GKOS?
In addition to the various products and souvenirs offered for sale at GKOS, we have introduced a category called DONATIONS. This category offers you, dear friends and supporters of Gush Katif, a simple and easy way to send donations to a variety of potential recipients by way of the Store.
How does it work? You simply enter this link and go on to choose your donation, just as you would choose any other item in the Store. We, for our part, instead of sending you a piece of merchandise, send you a receipt and a letter of thanks and appreciation for your generous contribution. Donors who would like to have a receipt recognizing their donation for tax purposes, in Israel or the USA, can get such a document from the Friends of Gush Katif.
